The Wyomissing Meadows Homeowners Association has embarked upon a complete exterior remediation project, using maintenance-free building materials, to bring our 35+ year-old units into the 21st century. This project includes new sheathing, house wrap, siding, trim, soffit, gutters with leaf guard, downspouts, and gable vents. In addition to being maintenance-free, our new siding and trim is warranted for 50 years against rot, insect, and other pest damage as well as cracking, peeling, and fading. All windows and doors are being flashed to prevent leaks and improve insulation.

 

As of July 1, 2025 twenty-seven of thirty-eight buildings (71%) have been completed. The remaining units are anticipated to be completed by December 31, 2025. The completed work has been paid for, all of the remaining work has been fully funded and the project budget includes a contingency to cover unforeseen repairs.
